Madrid nightlife

A unique experience: Party in Madrid with locals.

If Barcelona is the cosmopolitan side of Spain, we could say that Madrid is the heart of the country. This amazing city has a permanent bright blue sky, where people enjoy life outdoors and drive electric bikes. Madrid is free and has no timetable; it is restless and always tempts you to stay on for one last drink …

¿Ready to experience the true “Fiesta”?

Madrid shines bright at night with its vast choice of bars and endless parties. From classic tapas bars at La Latina, to the hipster vibe of Malasaña, the free spirit of Chueca or the classy Gin-tonics of Serrano; all of this, complemented by the cheap prices and generous portions.

Our insiders give their tips, we advice to follow them 🙂

If you just have one night in Madrid, do not miss the rooftops of the city. Start by going to the terrace of Círculo de Bellas Artes, enjoy the view and check out the cultural activities. Walk around the streets of the centre, Sol and Huertas. To enjoy some jazz music Café Central and PopulArt are sure bets. Moreover, for Cuban salsa and mojitos try La Negra Tomasa. You can also go for the flamenco experience at Casa Patas (not to miss the ham and tortilla of this place).

Until 2:00 am you can enjoy sitting around in terraces in the streets of La Latina. After this, find shelter in one of the many nightclubs of this city (see weekend plan for names of clubs)

In Madrid for weekend? So many places to visit!

A weekend in Madrid flies by! For starters walk to La Latina in the afternoon and enjoy some tapas in the endless list of bars lined up in Cava Alta and Cava Baja. The options range from classics such as Casa Lucio or Perejil to modern pintxos at Txirimiri or fusion cuisine at Juana la Loca.

You can then stroll by the Plaza Mayor and Royal Palace, stop for a coffee or caña and make your way to Malasaña and Chueca; the hipster nightlife in these neighborhoods has a special charm. La Bicicleta has a great international vibe, la Tita Rivera has a cozy patio, Macera has great gin tonics…. And you can end up in one of the many clubs of the city; Sala Sol, Ocho y Medio and (wait till you hear this one!) El Perro de la Parte de Atrás del Coche for indie music, Moloco I a good place for the eighties lovers, Barco and Bogui to dance and enjoy the intimacy of a small club or Joy Eslava and Pachá for the more commercial and large clubs.

In Spain, Tripnparty allows you to meet locals in Madrid and Barcelona and share a unique experience during a night.
